Bobby Womack's earlier work was as part of his family group The Valentinos, and as Sam Cooke's back up guitarist. Recently Bdub was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. This song is from his 1981 album The Poet. I've recently acquired some fashionable eye wear that for now on will be known as the Bobby Womack's in honor of the man.
