Blondie was hella underground until they dropped their 1978 album Parallel Lines. Noteworthy, because they included various elements of dancehall, reggae, and disco to form their sound. Debbie Harry (pictured below) was the main chick and she was doin it. "Rapture" is off of the group's 1980 album Autoamerican. Rapture is notable for being one of the first songs to incorporate elements of rap, thus relating the then underground genre to a wider audience.
