Koalas Go

The Koala is one of the best known Australian animals and is most prevalent within Queensland and Victoria. The Koala is broadly similar in appearance to the wombat (its closest living relative), but has a thicker coat, much larger ears, and longer limbs. While some people call them 'Koala Bears' they actually belong to a special group of Australian mammals known as marsupials. Koalas spend up to 20 -22 hours per day sleeping, because they need all the energy to digest their food (eucalyptus). These eucalyptus leaves contain a very toxic poison and it gets broken down in their stomach. They are most active at night, when they are mainly eating or mating during that time of the year. A baby Koala is referred to as a joey and is hairless, blind, and earless. Pretty much the dopest animals out. More info here.
