Sergio Mendes - "Mas Que Nada"

Originally a song done by Jorge Ben, Mas Que Nada gained worldwide notoriety once it was covered by Sergio and the rest of the Brasil '66. The song is an ode to the samba, as "mas que nada," means "no way" in Portuguese. The Black Eyed Peas redid the song with Mendes in 2006, breathing new air into the timeless classic. You know you've gotta slap when you don't know the words and Thanks Jo.

  1. I'm so glad you posted this up. When MP3s were new, in the mid-90's, this was one of five songs I had on my computer, along with some songs from the B-52's. I listened to it on repeat, basically, in WinAmp 2.0.
