Not new but necessary. Victoria Hesketh, known to the world as Little Boots covered Cudi's Day N Nite in early March. Little Boots' rendition is undeniably fantastic and borderline beautiful. But her cover also relates an exciting development that may be emerging in contemporary music. For Little Boots to cover Kid Cudi's work is not only an incredibly authentic marketing tactic, but it also promotes true artistry at its core. Piggy backing off the creativity of one, to stimulate the creativity of another. By covering various genres of music, musicians have the ability to support each other while also creating their own rendition of dope songs, ultimately relating their music to a wider demographic. W&B Day N Nite cover coming soon.
