So they dropped it. After two teasers and a preview, the official video for Jays second single has been released. A solid effort all around, the video successfully captures the magnitude of the track while featuring three of the biggest acts in the world. While, Jay and Kanye come correct, Rihanna's star shines the brightest. She just comes so epic with it. Style and grace. Style and grace. With BP3 right around the corner, I wonder if this is the precursor to the main event? Most of us are anticipating a classic album, and with ample time Jay has been given the opportunity to create a masterpiece. I guess only time will tell.

Kanye West: Live at the Chicago Theatre

It's no secret who has the most theatrical live shows these days. From the background singers, to the extensive live instrumentation, to the flashing lights, his shows are full fledged productions. Last night, Fuse TV aired Mr. West's "Stay in School" benefit concert, an effort to raise attendance in Chicago public schools. Students who kept their attendance up last year were honored with a free ticket to watch Ye do his thing live on stage. Kid Cudi feat. Kanye & Common - "Make Her Say"

Another visual offering from the G.O.O.D music coalition. Dope off top because of the departure from the images of girls, money, and jewelery that we've seen for the last decade. There's a natural air to this video which is refreshing, further related through the complimentary colors used throughout the video. Attention to the aesthetic was a primary focus according to Cudi, "We wanted to go for a real abstract and iconic-looking video, something real artsy. It’s really dope,” he said. “It’s almost like there’s still shots and there’s movement going on in them. It’s really trippy.” Gaga cameo would've been nice but a settled video all around. Appreciated.

Mr. Hudson feat. Kanye West - 'Supernova"

Mr. Hudson is intriguing. He has entered the game with a very unique angle, initially distinguishing himself with his looks and associations. on Supernova Hudson and Ye highlight the precautions of love and relationships, singing, "I feel like taking off/ Let me be your supernova tonight/ Before you make the biggest mistake of your life/ Just give me the chance to get it right." It will be interesting to see what his next single will be and how it fits into the rest of the album. Only time will tell. Kanye believes in him, which in today's realm is all you really need. Clean visuals make Hudson and Kanyes performance shots more compelling. His debut album, entitled "Straight No Chaser," drops October 5th.
