Everything about this video is tight. L.E.S Artistes, which contrary to popular belief stands for Lower East Side Artists, is an ode to artists who create for a purpose rather than to be seen in the scene. In an interview with PopJustice, Santigold states, "The song is playing on the fact that everyone tries to make things fancy when it's really just pretentious." This vid is for all but especially for Meghan and Tina and Daisy because Tina and Meg will feel this, and Daisy likes horses.
