Pencil Sculptures By Jennifer Maestre

Jennifer Maestre's creations are truly one of a kind. The exhaustive process of creating such works gives insight into what it means to be passionate about something. She's really on some other shit. In short, the sculptures are made by drilling holes in one inch long sections of pencils, and sewing them together using a sculptural beading technique called 'peyote' stitch. In long. Jennifer, has stated that she never went to school for what she does, which leads me to believe that creativity comes from within.
